How Solo and FairShare rewards are calculated and paid out.

Solo pools (1% fee)

When your miner finds a block on a solo pool, you receive the full block reward minus a 1% pool fee.

  • Ports: BTC 6001 · BCH 6002 · DGB 6003 · HOBC 6004
  • Payouts sent to the address in your worker name
  • Maturity: 100 confirmations after the block is found

FairShare pools (0% fee)

When the pool finds a block, the reward is split across three buckets within a 7-day window:

  • 29% finder bonus — hours-weighted to the worker that found the block
  • 5% loyalty pool — distributed to long-term contributors
  • 66% PPLNS — split among recent sharers in the window

Maturity & confirmations

All block rewards require 100 confirmations before they are eligible for payout. This protects against chain reorgs and matches standard pool practice.

Worker = payout address

Your worker name must start with your payout address: YOUR_ADDRESS.worker1. Everything before the first dot is where coins are sent.

One port per pool

Each pool family has Low / Med / High difficulty ports. Smart Connect recommends the right port and d=DIFF. Affiliates earn 1% of referred miners’ block-hit credits.
